Facilitator Training Workshop

This is a 2-day Facilitator Training Workshop for trainers who wish to run The Leadership Challenge® Workshop (TLCW) for in-house clients, or within own organization.

prerequisites

Participants must have completed a 2-day The Leadership Challenge® Workshop with a Certified Master Trainer, within the last 12 months, and will need to demonstrate both:

  • an understanding of the key points of the practices, behaviors, fundamentals and commitments as well as
  • competence in facilitation

  • Explanation and basic-level interpretation of the LPI®:Leadership Practices Inventory®

what you will do

  • Practice facilitating at least one module of the workshop and receive peer feedback
  • Practice responding to questions that could arise during facilitation of The Leadership Challenge® Workshop
  • Engage with like-minded leaders and facilitators in a small- group environment designed to maximize participation, feedback skills, and learning

what you will take away

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Kouzes' and Posner's leadership model The Leadership Challenge®
  • Ways to achieve a successful leadership development intervention including guidelines for customization
  • Module-specific tips and techniques for successful facilitation of The Leadership Challenge® Workshop
  • Certificate of Achievement signed by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner, and the title 'Trained Facilitator' of The Leadership Challenge®
  • Eligibility to apply to become a The Leadership Challenge® Certified Facilitator, along with the possibility to then move towards the Master-in-Training Pathway. Certification is by application and requires ongoing education for approximately three-four years.
